I wanted to explore how different textures and materials can find harmony. The coral-like structures I created using modeling paste represent organic chaos, while the geometric sections bring order. Those metallic circles with their patinated surfaces act as anchors, like fixed points in a changing landscape. What fascinates me is how the textured sections seem to flow down, defying their static nature – it’s about finding balance between control and letting go.
I chose this earthy palette with bursts of bright coral and metallic blue to suggest the interplay between grounded stability and moments of enlightenment. The composition is really about equalization – not just in visual weight, but in the way different elements respect each other’s space while creating something whole.
