This triptych explores different phases of cosmic evolution through monochromatic fluids. I used a pouring technique with silicone oil to create those cellular structures – they remind me of distant galaxies or nebulae. Each panel shows a different density of matter: the leftmost is more ethereal, the middle has those distinct bubble formations, and the right panel is the most condensed, almost stormy.
The brown tones seeping through the black and white create depth, like looking through cosmic dust. Those white spots? They emerged naturally from the chemical reaction between paints, but they work perfectly as distant stars or newly formed matter.
