In this triptych, I wanted to capture the raw energy of cosmic forces meeting earthly elements. Each panel shows a different moment where the churning cosmos – those swirling grays, blacks, and coral pinks – meets the solid copper-colored ground below. The textured wave pattern along the bottom, studded with metallic spheres, represents that boundary between chaos and order.
I used fluid painting techniques, letting the paints interact naturally while guiding their flow. The copper texture was created with actual sand mixed with metallic paint – I wanted that tangible, grounded feeling to contrast with the fluid universe above. You can see how each panel captures a different mood of this cosmic dance – some more turbulent, others more serene. The silver spheres weren’t just decorative choices – they represent physical anchors, like planets or moons, bringing structure to the chaos. It’s about finding those moments of stability in the swirling unknown.
