You can get to know KaliOpi from several aspects. If you’re an art lover, you’ll know her as a painter and master architect for furniture and interior design, and if you’re interested in numbers and logic, you’ll know her as a graduate professor of mathematics. Her defiance manifests in the fact that both hemispheres of the brain can be used simultaneously, rationally and creatively. The left one which requires analysis, strategy, playing with numbers, stability. The right one which feels, creates, liberates.
Taking into account her zodiac sign – Aquarius, things become clearer to us. She doesn’t follow the crowd, but creates her own. She doesn’t try to understand old techniques, but creates her own style with her original and unpredictable ideas. Despite her many obligations, she finds time and selflessly dedicates herself to her passion – art, specifically painting. After coming into contact with art, she knew that would be her way of expressing emotions.
KaliOpi Bosilanova reflects her inner light and wisdom through her work, demystifying her spiritual experiences, creating an aesthetic parallel to her inspiration. Her works captivate with their diversity and contrasts, yet they also unite, elevate, and harmonize the imaginary and the visible, the space in between.

I strive towards impulsiveness, originality, I believe that even a mistake is better than the most successful copy. And as I wrote in the catalog for the first exhibition (December, 2011)… A barefoot person better feels the texture of the asphalt and the granulation of sand grains that slip between their toes. Thousands of people in the world have shoes just like yours and leave the same footprint. That’s why you shouldn’t be afraid to walk barefoot and give the world something it hasn’t seen before.
The most common question for someone who creates. If you look at most of my works, you’ll notice different motifs, themes, techniques, and that should mean that I literally find inspiration in everything. It’s most interesting when inspiration comes as an idea that won’t let me sleep until I write it down, and based on it, I create afterwards. In the absence of inspiration… I try to be a good listener, so even a conversation can birth an artistic image. I enjoy inspiration with all my senses.
As an Aquarius, I’m aware that I don’t try to understand old techniques. I believe that each time (read: each individual) should stand out for something, to be remembered. It’s easy to see something happening on the internet and transfer it to these spaces. It’s hard to look within yourself and realize how YOU want your everyday life to look.
…a fluid, dependent on your perspective and ambition to put it in that form in which it has never been before.
